09:00 AM - 09:30 AM

Circle Time

Circle Time is our daily moment to come together, build community, and dive into the theme of the month through engaging, developmentally rich activities. We sing songs, practice phonics, explore new vocabulary, and enjoy themed read‑alouds that spark curiosity and connection. This structured group time strengthens early literacy, listening skills, social‑emotional growth, and attention span—while keeping learning joyful, interactive, and perfectly tailored to each month’s adventure.

09:30 AM - 10:15 AM

Rotation Stations

Children rotate through four thoughtfully curated stations, that match each month's theme. They are spending 15 minutes in each small‑group space (2–3 children per station). Each station is designed to support specific areas of development while encouraging independence, focus, and joyful exploration.

Books & Puzzles — Builds early literacy, fine‑motor strength, problem‑solving, and foundational math skills.

Dress‑Up, Trains & Dolls — Encourages dramatic play, imagination, social‑emotional growth, and both fine‑ and gross‑motor development.

Magnets, Felt Board & Blocks — Supports math concepts, spatial reasoning, creativity, and fine‑motor coordination through hands‑on building and storytelling.

Art & Sensory Bins — Promotes scientific thinking, creativity, sensory exploration, and refined fine‑motor skills.

Each rotation offers children a chance to engage deeply, practice independence, and explore materials that strengthen their cognitive, social, and motor development in meaningful, age‑appropriate ways.

10:15 AM - 10:45 AM

Morning Snack

As part of the CACFP program, our snack times are designed to nourish children with wholesome, balanced options. We serve primarily whole fruits, vegetables, beans, and whole grains, offering natural energy and essential nutrients to fuel active learning and play. Highly processed foods are kept to a minimum, ensuring children build healthy eating habits and enjoy fresh, real foods that support growth, focus, and overall well‑being.

11:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Outdoor Play

Outdoor play is essential year‑round because it strengthens physical skills, social confidence, emotional regulation, and problem‑solving all at once. Activities like sandbox play, slides, running with friends, chalk art, and biking help children build coordination, balance, strength, and spatial awareness while also encouraging cooperation, communication, and imaginative thinking. Being outdoors naturally supports emotional well‑being too—fresh air, movement, and open space help children regulate energy, reduce stress, and explore confidently. Daily outdoor time ensures children grow into curious, capable, resilient learners who feel connected to their environment in every season.

12:15 PM - 12:45 PM

Lunch

01:00 PM - 03:00 PM

Nap Time

Each child has their own cot to rest on during this calm, restorative part of the day. Gentle white noise helps create a soothing environment, while children are free to get up as needed to use the restroom or sip water. Rest is flexible—children may nap if their bodies need it, or they may engage in silent play on their cot with a book, doll, or drawing pad. This balance of structure and choice supports self‑regulation, independence, and respect for each child’s individual rhythms.

03:00 PM - 03:15 PM

Relaxed Awakening

After Quiet Time, children are given 15 minutes to wake up gently at their own pace. This transition period allows them to stretch, re‑center, and ease back into play. Together, we participate in simple clean‑up routines—putting cots away and placing nap blankets in the wash so they’re fresh for tomorrow. This calm, cooperative window helps children practice responsibility, teamwork, and self‑regulation while ensuring the day ends on a smooth, positive note.

03:30 PM - 03:45 PM

Dismissal

During our pick‑up window, children guide their own play in a calm, open‑ended environment. They may choose quiet activities, revisit favorite toys, or enjoy social play with friends while waiting for families to arrive. This time also includes being part of our clean‑up routines, where children learn responsibility, cooperation, and independence. By giving them ownership of their play and participation in closing tasks, we help foster self‑confidence, community spirit, and smooth daily transitions.
